Dr. Sadoughi completed his formal urology residency program at New York Medical School with fellowship in Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He then spent a year in doing research on neuromuscular dysfunction of the lower urinary tract with a grant from National Institute of Health. Subsequently, he was appointed Chief of Urology at Mount Sinani Medical Center in Chicago and Associate professor of Urology and Attending Physician at Rush University, Medical School. He has conducted multiple research projects with publications on bladder cancer as well as interest in urinary incontinence and pelvic relaxation in women for which he has received an award from the American Urological Association (N.C. section). His interest and expertise are in urologic oncologic surgery and neuromuscular dysfunction of lower urinary tract with urinary incontinence. He is currently actively involved in teaching of urology residents and supervising them at VA Hospital on a continual basis.
