The University of California, Irvine’s Department of Family Medicine is dedicated to advancing and promoting family medicine through quality patient care, education, research and community service. Our faculty’s research is focused on medical education, chronic disease management, geriatrics and complementary and alternative medicine.

A five-day course that presents an update of the newest medical information which is clinically relevant to the practicing family physician. This course can assist family physicians in the day-to-day practice of medicine and in preparation for the American Board of Family Medicine recertification exam.
