National Conference of Family medicine residents and medical students

Wednesday, July 30th - Saturday, August 2nd

Turn your attention to GLOBAL HEALTH (2008 conference theme) and explore the question: Where Will Family Medicine Take You? Main stage lectures will focus on the role of family physicians around the world and the range of international health opportunities. Theme workshops will cover a wide variety of topics, from cross-cultural communication to disaster assistance. And an open forum will provide the platform for residents and students to share their experiences with international projects.

Registration is open for the 2008 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students. The conference is scheduled for July 30th - August 2nd in Kansas City. More information about this event can be found at www.aafp.org/nc.

Each year, over 100 residents and students benefit from the National Conference Scholarship Program. More information about this opportunity can be found at www.aafp.org.

The deadline for submitting an application for a $600 scholarship is May 1st.
